Industrial Engineering students visited and undertook a study tour at Samphran Warehouse, Nakhon Pathom Province.

On Friday, September 19, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., (third-year student) from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Silpakorn University (Sanam Chandra Palace Campus), visited Samphran Warehouse in Nakhon Pathom for a study tour.

Our recent study visit focused on transportation and distribution management, held during the first semester of the 2024 academic year. The goal was to give students the opportunity to gain real-world insights into how the industry operates. We had the chance to learn from Dragonal Group, a company well-known for its strong standards in import, export, storage, and logistics. With such comprehensive operations, it truly served as a perfect learning hub and a rich source of information for future research.

The company was pleased to welcome the students and sent representatives to provide detailed presentations on each step of their operations, including :

Receiving goods into the warehouse
Measures for product quality control and protection
Storage systems and warehouse safety
Efficient procedures for product distribution

We feel honored and delighted to share our knowledge in transportation and distribution management with the students. It was also a valuable opportunity to contribute to enhancing their hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom, which they can apply and build upon in the future.
