Chemical Name :  Calcium Hypochlorite
Formula           :  Ca(ClO)₂
Properties        :  White or grayish white color, in powder with  the special pungent odour, being corrosive and toxicity.

Uses : The effective ingredient is Ca(OCl)_2.2H₂O. It is a strong oxidant and a high effective bleacher. Mainly used for bleaching textile of cotton, chemical fibers, paper/pulps and starch: Used in treatment of drinking water, swimming pool and household sanitary apparatus as stylizer or germicides, etc.
